I received this product less than 48 hours after I ordered it which is good because my apple trees produced loads of apples this year. It works better than any other peeler/corer that I have had. I average an apple a minute and could do better if I tried. The blade IS sharp which is why it peels so well, so peel your apples and potatos and keep your fingers out of the way!Customer Review: Excellent for coring and peeling large quantities

This is great for peeling and coring large quantities of apples. I used it to peel more than 20 lbs of apples for canning. It works like a charm. I really like the suction cup bottom. I have a rounded lip on my countertops, making it hard to use a clamp. I like that it can make slices or leave the apple whole. The color is great, too.Customer Review: Exceeded expectations

I bought this for someone who had complained about peeling a lot of apples for a Tennessee Mountain Stack Cake. When we clamped it to the counter and slapped an apple into it, it was cored, peeled, and spiral-sliced in literally five seconds.
Amazing that it works so well. This model feels sturdy and well-built.

This handy little device will save you hours of work if you like to make apple pies! It is very easy to work, easy to clean, and you can get 10-12 apples peeled, cored, and sliced in less than five minutes. You can also use it to peel potatoes, although I use mine just for apples. Trust me, it is awesome. The only bummer is that big genetically modified apples do not work, so get the bagged little ones. It is also a learning curve as to how to position the apples. But if you love to make apple pies, you will LOVE this!
