I like the bright red "fire-plug" quality! It serves its purpose, but has to be dumped several times per week (which is a hassle in the winter!). I did not purchase the liner bags - but I find it helpful to trim a brown lunch sack to fit. I have seen the white version at World Market for half this price.Customer Review: Great idea, looks great in kitchen.

I have red appliances, so this fits in great, especially with my kitchen aid mixer. The only think that worries me is that since it is ceramic, I feel like it won't take long before I chip it, exposing a chunk of white under that beautiful red.Customer Review: Great counter composter

This does exactly what it should. It is great for the counter and since i cook a great deal I an immediately put my compost into the keeper. It is easier than having to use the one outside.Customer Review: Not the best made product

Although the ceramic compost keeper is adequate for the purpose, I found I had to glue the banding on the lid to keep it secure.It is however much more atractive than the plastic containers we were using.
