This is a wonderful product, it not only works, with no smell if you change the filters as instructed,
(though I find I don't need to change them quite as often as they say to) It also looks nice on the counter.
My only gripe is the Ridiculous price of shipping the extra filters, so order a lot when you do. I ordered only two, and ended up paying more for shipping than the product it self.

Product looks good, no odor, works well, great to use with biodegradable bags.My house continues to become more and more green, especially with this product.I can put everything from pinched off leaves from house plants to coffee grounds to hair from the hair brush to bread crusts to...anything that is biodegradable! The compost keeper is a great thing to have in the kitchen. Without a real place to put the possible kitchen compost waste, it is real easy to just toss it into the ole trash can. Having a designated place that looks attractive and does not smell, makes it MUCH easier to gather the kitchen compost and take it to the composter outside. AND....its dishwasher safe! Don't get the filters that come up on this page. They're for a different size keeper.
I contacted Norpro and they said it is replacement 93F that goes with it.
Do a google search, and a few options come up.
Norpro also suggested: "Also try, Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, Do It Best Hardware." But you would have to get them to special order it.

We fill this up in roughly 2 days. It fairly large, cleans easily, solid, and easy on the eye. The handle is a nice feature. It definately contains the smell. I see the extra odor things that line the lid for sale on Amazon. Our original one is still currently in it since Dec. 08. and is doing the job. I think they can now be purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond as well.
