My husband & I use it daily as we keep it under the sink. Neither of us has noted any odor leakage, bug problems, or similar issues with other compost keepers. This compost keeper is perfect. The size is just right for people who regularly compost kitchen scraps and it cleans up easily with soap and water. The handle is sturdy enough so you really can hold it by the handle as you walk out to your compost pile. I keep it next to the sink, where it is most handy, and it looks good! I love this container...it helps me compost! Usually I am too lazy to take the food outside so it builds up in an unsightly pile in a bowl until I set it outside where the coons have their way with it and make a mess. This way I can store the compost until the container is full and then take it outside. It looks good and there is no smell!Customer Review: I love this.

I love this compost container. It sits on my counter and looks really nice. So far, it doesn't smell at all. I used to use an old plastic storage container for compost on the counter and it looked awful and was stinky. I'm very happy with this. I just received this for Christmas. Works perfect, looks good, easy to clean, and NO SMELL, even after cutting up onions! It's been filled several times and is so much nicer than the bowl that I used to keep on the kitchen counter.
