No, I didn't click on the wrong star -- it IS a five. Title's a joke, folks, considering the heated (pun intended) indignant 1- and 2-star vehement complaints about a $4 item.
All you have to do is run the shield under the warm water, rubbing off the splatters while bending it back and forth as you go and leave it to dry straight. 10 seconds, tops, and you're good to go. The 1-star folks could try reading the instructions: USE RIBBED SIDE DOWN. The slight bend, as one user noted, prevents the scalding steam normally released from tight plastic wrap.
Two cents plastic in a $4 item shows inventor was ingenious in creating a good, cheap item to sell for a super cheap price.
Those feel "taken" by their purchase should use common sense in rinsing the shield, and then GET OVER IT.
