I have 5 kids and summer is on the way so I searched Amazon for something to make frozen treats with and came across these. I've had the random plastic Popsicle molds over the years and the plastic sticks always pulled out and left you with no way to eat them, or you had to buy and replace the wood sticks all the time, or they wouldn't slide out of the container without running under hot water and then they were all messy afterwards.
I prefer not to buy the stuff at the grocery store full of artificial flavors and food dyes and chemicals either. These seemed a perfect solution. No sticks, less mess, no having to buy and rebuy sticks, no BPA... I got 2 boxes so I could make 8 at a time. I'm so so glad I bought these!! We've only had them less than a week and we are in love. It's so easy to push your frozen treat up to the top, even my 21 month old toddler can figure it out. But no drippy mess. It all drips back down into the container where they can drink it out at the end. I used some organic juice I had around the house for the first batches and the kids are so happy. I can't wait to try more interesting treats like frozen yogurt and pudding pops. I know they will be a hit all summer long. Surprisingly, the lid fits very snugly into the top. I stored mine upright in a tall cup to freeze for space reasons but they really seem leak proof. After many uses and washings, I'm not sure how leakproof they will remain but since we store them upright anyway I'm not concerned.
Highly highly recommend these. They would also be fantastic for making your own homemade "go-gurt" for your kid's lunchbox. Cheaper and you can use quality yogurt without all the added fake flavors and colors and tons of sugar.
