What a lovely piece of crockery to store garlic next to your cooktop. I have had mine for years. Even though mine has developed a couple chips I can not part with this useful little container. I have enjoyed years of well kept garlic because of my Norpro Garlic Keeper and would be very sad to see it go. I highly recommend this functional and attractive product.

You'll love this decorative ceramic garlic keeper. Rather than have garlic heads lying on the counter or stacked on shelves, store them in this attractive ceramic garlic keeper. There are a couple of really nice things going for this ceramic garlic keeper by Norpro: it's good-looking, yet restrained in its Old World ornamentation; and while it will never contain that entire Costco mesh bag of Gilroy, California's chief crop, it will provide optimal storage conditions for three or four larger heads of garlic (not including the jumbo-sized but deceptively mild elephant garlic). Firm, plump, heavy heads with unbroken, tight, papery skin deserve a dry, cool (but not refrigerated), well-ventilated 'hood, something this 5-inch-high garlic keeper provides with a touch of Italian ?lan. --Tony Mason
