What a lovely piece of crockery to store garlic next to your cooktop. I have had mine for years. Even though mine has developed a couple chips I can not part with this useful little container. I have enjoyed years of well kept garlic because of my Norpro Garlic Keeper and would be very sad to see it go. What can you say, it's a garlic keeper? I used to keep garlic on my counter in a small dish. This garlic keeper is pretty and covered and keeps garlic out of sight. It matches in color with the butter keeper I bought, so it works well for me and keeps my counter looking better organized. I like that it's bigger than expected. Such a pretty vase. OH, it is used to store garlic, how practicl. I saw this at a store, and am going to get one. I usually just store garlic in a bowl, which since it is not covered like this lovely vase, my bird also gets to enjoy the Garlic. The first garlic keeper arrived broken and was immediately replaced by Amazon. The second arrived in one piece as it was packaged better. As to the garlic keeper itself, it fits with my wifes decor and does what it is supposed to do . . . it holds the garlic cloves.Customer Review: a very good garlic keeper

This was even nicer than I had expected, about 3 inches high at the shoulder and 4 inches across, it is big enough to hold six full heads of garlic. It came through the dishwasher okay and is more pleasant to look at than a clay keeper.
