Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Norpro 917 Nylon Turner

Customer Review: Nylon spatula for a great price
Summary: 4 Stars

I couldn't stand the thought of paying $10 for a pancake turner/spatula tool in the stores so found this one at Amazon for a fraction of the price. Turns out it works great - does the job, goes in the dishwasher, doesn't scratch my no-stick frypan. My only complaint: it came with one of those demonic SKU stickers on the handle that required effort and then some swabbing with goo remover to clean off the adhesive. Could have done without that aggravation, but now that its over, I have a very reasonably priced kitchen tool that I use every day.

Customer Review: Norpro 917 Nylon Turner
Summary: 4 Stars

It's easy to use and firm like I like, but the $3.95 shipping charge plus the cost of the turner cost more than the value of this product.

Customer Review: Less than meets the eye
Summary: 3 Stars

This item is much smaller than it appeared to be on the screen. Still, it works well for smaller items such as cookies. Overall, a satisfactory purchase.

Customer Review: Small Turner Spatula
Summary: 3 Stars

The product was good but was a mini turner. I was expecting a full size turner.

Customer Review: Disappointed.
Summary: 1 Stars

I use my cooking utensils very carefully & judiciously. I never leave my utensils in a hot cooking pot or pan. This Norpro 917 Nylon Turner is rated in it's description as safe to use up to 450 Degrees F. Well, I used it to fry eggs, hamburgers and French Toast. But it has begun melting from the first. The front edge looks as if I had taken a soldering gun to it.

It's not of much use. And I have NO plans to buy anymore Norpro Nylon utensils.
