This product works! I use it to mix up protein shakes. It is small and easy to clean. It essentially is a piece of molded plastic with a motor that holds two AA batteries. The on/off switch is plastic that depresses a metal contact. Put together it feels solid. With fresh batteries it really can whip up a drink. The only think I don't like about it is, its does not have any speed variance. It's either full on or full off. So to prevent splashing an on/off pulse method is used. Amazingly enough the little device still has plenty of power using half exhausted batteries. I used the NIMH batteries that my digital cameras says are dead; they work great in this mixer. If you have a tall glass the attachments might not reach the bottom before the plastic housing touches your liquid. This sometimes results in unmixed powder and/or liquid/goo in the housing. This is a minor problem and is easily avoided with some finesse from the user. All things considered this little device is certainly worth the money.Customer Review: Great Product! Great Price!

I ordered this little mixer on the review of others. They pretty much put it on a pedestal so I thought, what the heck, for the price I'll try it. I mix a fairly thick and heavy drink in the morning consisting of v-8 juice and Super Greens powder so I figured if it will mix this stuff, it will mix anything. It mixed my drink completely and worked way beyond my expectations. For being so small, it has fantastic power. The only negative I noticed was the length of the mixing attachment. Its a little too short for the container I normally use but I worked around that by using a different container. The other surprise I had was if you take it out of your drink while mixing, it will spray liquid everywhere. It really needs a power down switch to select different speeds but what the heck. For such a low price for a device that actually works I'll deal with it. Buy it and try it. You will love it!Customer Review: Great little tool

I love this little tool. I originally bought it to mix single mugs of hot chocolate, but found it was good for beating a single egg or making a small amount of salad dressing. What I have found it most useful for, however, is getting down into small bottles of moisturizer to blend in makeup pigments with. I add the mineral makeup to my moisturizer to tint it or make my own liquid foundation. The slim tool is good for putting down inside the bottle and blending, so now I don't have to empty the bottle, mix and transfer the contents back or shake the bottle forever.
Make sure you have good batteries, though. I try to use rechargeables whenever I can, but alkaline ones seem to work better for this. I've had the batteries in here for over six months and it's still going strong. When I use rechargables, they run down much quicker because they can't hold the charge for as long.

I love this mini-mixer! I previously used my MB for all my protein drinks, and it did a great job, but, you have to take it apart and deal with all the cleaning. This Mini-Mixer is the bomb. Light weight, compact as well as powerful. Just take off the attachment (4 are included) and give it a quick swish under the faucet. Splashing isn't a problem when you follow the instructions on the box. Use a 12 ounce container for mixing an 8 ounce drink. I originally bought it to take on a trip, but now it proudly stays in my kitchen drawer, and it only takes up a few inches. Oh, the MB was put away...ah, more room on my counter top.

This battery mixer was meant as replacement for a battery mixer purchased and used for a number of years around the kitchen. This one is smaller and much more powerful. I use mine for mixing gravies and yeast starters, rather than mixed drinks, but this model should do whichever very well. I am limited to the disk attachment because the larger beaters would splash the small quantities I use all over the place. The disk works well for small quantities, however. In a tall mixed drink glass the beaters should work well. I am pleased with the product: It's fast, powerful, and under $10.
