I had always used a paper clip to get the seed out of the cherry. Messy, and juice would run down my arms. It took forever. My son gave me this and it is fast! I could pit a gallon of cherries FAST--about one every second!!! Great item!Customer Review: Pitted against the cherries

Rapid, efficient,sturdy and easy to clean. Must to attached to the edge of a counter and the right edge was hard to find. I hand pitted cherries for 90 minutes and completed the same number in 15 minutes with the cherry pitter.Customer Review: Great item!

I just got one of these yesterday. Its works marvelously. Just pour in about a cup of cherries and keep punching the handle. What could have been a very labor heavy task was just simple. Highly recommended.
