I got mine in time for Easter Eggs and, as usual, was skeptical over the products expected effectiveness. Well, I called it wrong! This little gadget worked beautifully. I boiled eggs a dozen at a time with this little beauty right in the middle of 'em! The best little plus was not a single egg was cracked! Heck, I crack eggs all the time with the little traditional bell timers. This is a great little product and performs as promised! :o)Customer Review: Science is strange, but AWESOME!

I don't know HOW this works, but I also don't really CARE - the point is that it DOES work!! I have boiled anywhere from 2 to 8 eggs at a time with this little gadget, and my eggs always come out PERFECTLY! I think all you need to worry about is what the markings mean to YOU (for example, turns out my perfect soft-boiled egg - firm white, runny yolk - lies on the line halfway between the soft and medium lines). Buy it, it's FUN and PRACTICAL!Customer Review: No more green eggs!

Not much to say - IT WORKS! No more over cooked eggs with greenish rings around the yolks. It even works to cool the eggs. Just run cool water in the pan until the egg timer turns back to all red and they are cool all the way through and ready to eat! Works for soft and medium boiled as well.

I love this egg timer. The only way to make soft boiled eggs without cracking the shell. The egg timer goes in the pot of cold water with the eggs. You can stop the boiling at any desired level.
I have been using these devices for decades. Many have not heard of it so it makes a good present.
The thermochromic layer that shows the actual condition has a limited lifetime. So every few years it the egg timer has to be replaced.

I love medium boiled eggs, but before I bought this gadget I just used a timer. Maybe once every 10 times the eggs came out the way I like them. Usually they were too soft or too hard. I could cook the eggs for the same amount of time each time, but they did not seem to come out the same each time. I am THRILLED with this product. Since I started using this, my eggs came out exactly the way I like the EVERY time, without fail.
