I have had one of these for more than 20 years and it is the only way to cook eggs -- they come out perfect everytime. This product does exactly what it says it can do and does it every single time. I never thought I could get the perfect boiled egg before i bought this egg timer. I didnt believe it could actually work as well as it does. The 1st time I used my eggs came out perfect and everytime since then too. You simply place in the pan with yoour eggs and cook as normal. It is so very easy to read soft, medium or hard on the timer too. Viola' I plan on giving these as giftbox toppers for Mothers Day.Customer Review: The Answer to making soft boiled eggs.

At first glance it looked like it would be very hard to read however when you put it in the water you can see the face perfectly. It works very well. All you have to do is keep an eye on it as your eggs are cooking. It has a plastic smell to it when you first use it but does not give the eggs a plastic taste. I paid 6.99 for it. I love this gadget. If you have trouble timing the perfect egg this is the solution. Put it in the water along with your eggs and it tells you when they are done to your taste. It produces exactly the egg you want every time! I bought one about 20 years ago at a specialty store and it just started to crack this year. I was a bit skeptical about the positive reviews, but now convinced that this timer is as fantastic as described. I think that this was the first time in many, many years that I have had an HB egg that was cooked through, but had no tell tale grey around the yolk.
