Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Norpro Ice Pop Popsicle Maker

Customer Review: The Norpro Ice Pop Popsicle Maker is a good product
Summary: 5 Stars

The Norpro Ice Pop Popsicle Maker is a good product. My kids and I enjoy it very much. My kids don't like milk but they need calcium for good bones. I blend fruit and yogurt together then freeze it. It is a healthier pop for kids. Run the mold briefly under water, then you can remove the pop easily from the mold.

Customer Review: How to hold the sticks in place . . .
Summary: 4 Stars

This product is not quite complete. Without some help, the sticks sink all the way to the bottom of the molds or skew off to the sides. You're going to need office supplies.

I find that 3/4" binder clips, turned on their sides, hold the sticks perfectly straight and at the distance into the mold that I choose. The clips rest against the metal top, so there is no contact with the frozen pop. When you are ready to unmold, all ten sticks will be aligned for easier removal of the metal top plate.

That's it. 3/4" binder clips, available everywhere office supplies are sold. You'll probably also find them in the supply closet at the office. That's not where I got them, but hey, maybe you're feeling bitter about that raise you didn't get.

Customer Review: Norpro Icepop Molds are Fabulous
Summary: 5 Stars

The Norpro Icepop Mold is great & fairly easy to use. I read all the reviews before purchasing this product. I leave a half-inch between the liquid and the top of the mold, then freeze until slushy (about a half-hour in my high-efficiency freezer), put on the metal cover, insert popsicle sticks and freeze until fully firm. I remove the metal cover, run warm water over the mold, grasp the sticks one at a time (there's some suction and then the popsicles pop out) and put each on plastic wrap, then three to four in a zip-lock freezer bag, and store in the freezer. I'm ready for the next flavor combo and my family helps themselves to great popsicles throughout the day. Our last flavor combo was honeydew melon with cream and Tupelo honey - & chopped pistachios.

Customer Review: Very Pleased
Summary: 5 Stars

I really enjoy them and if people would use common sense they would like them also. It is so nice to find a product that is made in the U.S.A.
That is very hard to find these days.

Customer Review: Love this product!
Summary: 5 Stars

These are great! I have a 3 and 4 year old and we love making popsicles. It is really easy. The tips in the other five star ratings really help to make good use of this. I am thinking about getting a second one!
