I was a bit skepitcal about the Norpro s/s steamer juicer and its price but read through the reviews and found them so favorable, I decided to give it a try. Specifically, I was looking for an easier method to extract juice from fruits and veggies for wine making, and I can say without a doubt, it's the best! It is heavy-duty; the top part held 4 gallon bags of currants and the bottom held 8 quarts of water. You do need to watch the pot so it doesn't dry out, but I had all the juice before I ran out of water. It's easy to clean and the glass lid allows you to look at the fruit as it's releasing its juices without lifting the lid. It was a bit pricey but excellent quality; it was worth every penny! And such a time saver. Thanks!

Simply fill the base with water, put fruit in the top basket and bring to a boil on the stove top. The resulting steam gently extracts the juice, which drips into the center pan then travels down the rubber hose into a storage container.
