I was hoping to create personalized pies and chicken pot pies with these mini pie pans, as other users suggested. I enjoy making deep dish pies, especially fruit pies to allow for more filling. What I received was a bit disappointing - the 1.25 inch pan depth doesn't allow for much filling after the crust is added; and if you're using a double crust it's even more crust to filling ratio. Hopefully I find another product that allows for deep dish and double crust pies.Customer Review: Not what I expected

I originally purchased these for chicken pot pies. They are a little small for that purpose, and I ended up buying disposable aluminum pans instead. The ones I originally bought are good quality and they would work for individual pies or tarts.Customer Review: far smaller than expected

The pans work well, but are the size of one of those tiny pies sold in the bread aisle. I was looking for something that would serve two, and this barely serves one. More trouble to return than keep, but will give them to my grandkids when they are old enough for mud pies.
