I have many wonderful knives, but this is my go-to knife for 90% of the time. It is a very thin, sharp blade...great size for small and medium tasks....sharp enough to cut bagels, tomatoes, peppers; that normally require a serrated edge. Norpro is reliable and quality-oriented.
The price has been reduced since I purchased this knife...It is worth much more.
Use proper technique....bend those fingers at the knuckle, or risk injury.
The safest knife is a sharp-edged one, that won't skip. Also comes in a 7 inch version.
