After using my rolling pin on top of two tin cans to dry my pasta (which I don't recommend by the way, because you have to watch out that the rolling pin doesn't roll off), I felt it was time to get something more sensible.
Not only does this rack make more sense, it also is so easy to assemble and put away after use. It is also very stable in my opinion (more than my old method) and there is quite a lot of room to put your pasta sheets or fettucine ribbons etc. to rest and dry.

I absolutely love this thing and as a matter of fact have three of them. Even a complete klutz like myself can assemble one of these in a snap. No more drying your wonderful pasta on the counter or (and I blush when I say this) using a cloths drying rack...this is much more classy. No more yucky clean up and no more flour on my dark unmentionables. Clean up is an absolute breeze...completely no problem.
Quite often simplicity is the best and that old saying certainly hold true with this product. Like another reviewer here, I must tell you that the wood these are made from is not the strongest so don't let your sister's insufferable brats play with it too much as it will not stand the handling of three Neanderthal larva for very long.
All in all, I could not be happier with a product.

i really like this rack. it collapses and easily stores under counter (requires rubber band to keep dowels neatly bound to center spindle). it is light, cheap and does exactly what it is intended to do. Customer Review: So easy a 3 year old can do it!

After reading the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to buy this rack. However, after receiving it, we were delighted! It is so easy to use, we allow our 3 year old to assemble, disassemble and clean the rack every time we make pasta. I read that storage was an issue, but we put ours back in the box and stack it in the cupboard with the cutting boards and cookie sheets. I would recommend if you are looking for an economical drying rack. This is one purchase we feel was worth every penny!
