I know these mini bowls don't dominate anyone's kitchen but they sure are handy for adding spices, etc. I've got them in the cabinet next to the stove and find myself reaching for them all the time. I also use them to collect 4 days worth of vitamins to put in individual bags for me to take. They are just an all around good addition to anyone's kitchen. I hand wash them because I do that for all my plastic or silicone things and they are perfect.
Like I said, not a necessity for everyone but they sure have come in more handy than I ever thought they would. I live alone so make things in smaller amounts and these help especially when I'm making an Indian dish with a variety of spices.

The little bowls are so cute and functional. When cooking, I used to pull the spices out of the cabinet individually, dump them in my hand, then put them into whatever I was cooking. Not anymore. Now, I can plan ahead. I put my spices in the great little bowls ahead of time, and line them up before I get into cooking. They make it easy to pour dry or liquid ingredients because the bowls bend into any shape. If I have extra spice, I can easily return it to the original container. The bowls pop right into the dishwasher and clean up in a snap. They do not retain any odors or colors (like from soy sauce). They are wonderful.Customer Review: Concave or convex?

There weren't any directions on how to use these little babies. It turns out that if you set one "rim side down" and try to pour something in it, you end up instead pouring something ON it. I found this out the hard way, with maple syrup!!
However, once I got over that puzzler and turned the bowls so that the wide opening was at the top, they quickly proved to be just what I was after. They are very bowl-like in their ability to hold things.
And as an added bonus, if you stack all four cups together in the order RED-YELLOW-GREEN-BLUE, you get four-sevenths of a rainbow!

Never thought I would refer to a bowl as awe inspiring, until I found these. They can be used for countless things due to the fact that almost nothing will stick to them, they can easily be pinched for pouring or reshaped for other purposes, they can even be twisted inside out which makes them super easy to clean for the few things that will stick to them.
I originally found these in a retail store and bought 2 sets. They have proven to be so useful that I bought 2 more sets to use in the kitchen because almost all of the original ones are being used for art and craft projects.
