These little bowls are perfect for chopped herbs, garlic, vanilla. I also use them when working with poultry to hold salt and pepper.
Their flexible shape makes them easy to use. I have small glass bowls as well, but I find myself reaching more for these. Dishwasher safe and they don't take up a lot of space.
These fun bowls definitely make mis en place easier.

These are fabulous little pinch bowls. I wasn't sure I would really use them too much, but seem to use them often each week. Great for individual portions for drink mixes. Sauces on the side for each person fit well too; such as tarter sauce for fish, soy for egg rolls, ketchup for fries. Handy as well as colorful. My son calls them 'squishy bowls'. These are neat little bowls to own and come in handy in the kitchen. I like to make my own seasoning blends and have found them useful when measuring out whole and ground spices. Also when pinched together, the mini pinch bowl doubles as a funnel when transferring a small amount of spices to a jar. I purchased these a long time ago to make a particular Vietnamese dish: Bánh Bèo (steam rice pancakes). It is perfect for it. I just love them.
