I purchased this just for making pizza. This is the best product I've gotten so far for my pizza making adventure and just happens to be the cheapest of all of my new tools. I haven't used a more expensive pastry/baking mat, so can't really compare, but this one does everything I'd hoped it would do for a fraction of the price of other mats.
I've used it for rolling out pie crusts and pizza dough. Highly recommend.

I much prefer this to the plastic mat I also have as it stays put, lies flat, stores more easily, and can be used in the oven. I have used it for bread dough, marshmallow fondant, and pie crust and all worked equally well.Customer Review: found it again!

This pastry mat serves another usage. If having a Granite-type counter top, as a rule, cannot roll pastry dough on counter because it could cause permanent stain. This Silicone Pastry Mat has solved the problem.
