Norpro silicone triple egg lifter safely lift boiled eggs right from the pan. Heat resistant to 450 F/230C.
Here's a recipe for perfect hard-boiled eggs: Pierce the large ends of up to six eggs with a needle. Place eggs in this stainless-steel egg cooker and lower them into gently boiling water to cover. Cook as desired (10 to 12 minutes). Remove egg holder by its plastic, heat-resistant handle. Immediately plunge eggs into ice water and shake pan to crack shells so sulfur that turns yolks green (and odoriferous) can migrate into water. Cool eggs in water. For perfect soft-boiled eggs, warm and ready to eat, reduce cooking time as desired and skip the ice-water bath. This handy device, 6 inches in diameter, can also serve as a holder for dyeing or decorating eggs. --Fred Brack
