This thing works great and it's cheap. If you aren't making Spaetzle daily and you aren't making it for a huge crowd this will do the trick perfectly. It comes with 2 recipes and both are great. It has a little metal tab on the end to help secure it when you have it over the pot of water. Even if you are just curious...it's dirt cheap! BUY IT!Customer Review: Very Pleased

I have had my old spaetzle machine for almost 20 years and it got bent in an unfortunate moving accident. I was having so much trouble finding a replacement (that didn't cost a fortune) until finally discovering this one. It slides quite a bit smoother than my old one and the results are wonderful. I got it a day or so after ordering it and decided to try it out ASAP. The included recipes looked good so I used #1. Everything went smoothly and I soon had a large bowl of near perfect spaetzel that everyone exclaimed over and gobbled up! It's definitely a gadget worth having especially at the bargain price. I love this. I have looked all over and they are kind of hard to find. The first time I made them I used a colander and I had a mess. So I said when I find one of these I am going to buy it, and I bought this one.
