I bought this egg poacher for my husband for his birthday. He loves to make poached eggs on the weekends. This is a very beautiful pan, and it works really well. I looked all over for an egg poacher that was stainless steel, and I was so happy when I go found this one. The glass lid is great too. I was alittle worried about the handle getting hot, but it does not, and it has not been a problem at all. However, you do have to use a hot pad when you pick up the little wooden knobs on the cups. We just put olive oil or butter in the egg cups, and the eggs come out pretty easily. This pan is pretty big. It would be nice to have a 3 cup one available.Customer Review: Great Egg Poacher

This egg poacher works great. I purchased the stainless egg cups because I didn't want the non-stick coating. The glass lid lets you easily monitor how the eggs are cooking. The plastic knobs allow you to easily remove the cups. As both the instructions and the other reviews note, these knobs can get hot so don't grab them with bare hands immediately after removing the lid. The skillet is not a piece of Farberware or All-Clad cookware, but it is pretty solid and works great for what it's made to do!! And from my searching, I don't think any of the top cookware manufacturers make egg poaching skillets like this anymore.Customer Review: What I've needed for a long time!

I can't believe that I've been dealing with a three-egg maximum teflon drop-in to poach my eggs, when I could have had the ease of this stainless steel egg poacher. It took my husband complaining about getting one eggs benedict when my growing 13 year old son was getting two for me to finally search for something else. I'm so glad I came across this Krona Deluxe. Now I can poach five eggs at a time, have the eggs slide right out of the poachers and then just put the whole contraption in the dishwasher. No more hand "scrubbing" teflon after trying to juggle an egg out with two spoons. This is the bomb!Customer Review: Very surprised

I have been looking for a stainless steel poached egg pan for years and this one is fabulous. The eggs cook fast and perfect everytime and the cups clean up beautifully. It's great to have 5 cups, too.I like the glass top so I can see the eggs cooking. There were directions on the box but not in the box so check that and write them down. I haven't used the pan itself for cooking other things and probably never will.I love this pan!!!!I thought the price was OK because I wanted stainless and not the dreaded teflon which we never use. If you are looking for a good egg poacher look no further, this is it. Why buy yet another electric appliance to take up valuable cabinet space? This poaches eggs beautifully and can also double as a skillet all on the cooker you already have. It only takes 5 mintues to poach an egg with a soft yoke, 7 for a firmer yoke. I use this several times a week for breakfast. If I were to complain about anything it would be the little handles of the cups, they do get hot, otherwise one can't go wrong with this poacher set.
