I had a lime citrus juice press and a lemon citrus juice press for many years. We use them almost every day and over the years the enamel had begun to chip off. I finally got smart and realized that I only needed one since the limes are smaller and would fit into the lemon size juicer. Even though this juice press is a bit more expensive it takes the place of two gadgets and I should not need to replace it since there is nothing to chip or peel. This is simply the best citrus press on the market. It presses limes and lemons equally well, and cleans in seconds. The heavy weight feels sturdy, and the construction is top notch. Unlike painted aluminum presses, the finish will not chip or fade. If only all kitchen tools were made this well.
I was recently at a top bar/restaurant in San Francisco and the bar tenders were all using this same press. If it's good enough for the pros, it's good enough for me.

This isn't immediately obvious, and indeed somewhat counter-intuitive, so I thought I would share. To prevent the juice from squirting up into your eyes, and to achieve proper extraction, you need to place the lemon or lime half with the cut side pointed down into the press, not up facing you, which would seem to fit better. The squeezer will get every last drop out, and in the process invert the skin of the citrus inside out, leaving you with only the skin and no juice.Customer Review: Excellent Product! Very Durable

We've had this juice press for about a month now, and it is an excellent product. We use it several times a week and it does an excellent job of juicing without an extreme amount of effort. It has a "heavy" durable feel to it, like it's a professional, industrial strength juicer. Cleans easily either by hand or by popping it into the dishwasher. It was also shipped promptly, with no surprises and no problems. We would definitely recommend purchasing this product.Customer Review: Best lime juicer ever

We have probably tried every kind of juicer on the market from hand reamers to electric juicers and nothing else comes close to this one for juicing small citrus such as limes and limones/key limes. We get about twice as much juice from them with this juicer. It is also good for all but the biggest, thickest skin lemons.
It is sturdy with a nice heft and couldn't be easier to clean. You won't go wrong with this product.
