Great item ! Norpro makes very versatile double steamer.It's easy to use and easy to clean.It's big enough to steam large items, Yet can be small enough for lesser amounts.It can be seperated to cook in seperate pots so flavors won't mingle and it saves cooking time.It foldes compactly to take less storage space than larger steamers. So if you already have pots this should be the only steamer you ever need.

The high-quality stainless-steel steamer can be split up and used separately with the push of a button, but its true value comes in its ability to steam two separate dishes in the same pot. Many bamboo steamers can accomplish this task, but most are sized to fit over a wok, which can dominate a small cooktop. The larger steamer (7-1/8 inches in diameter) fits into any larger pot, which leaves plenty of room on the rest of your stove. Since the steamers detach with one button push and reattach with even less effort, staggering your cooking times within the same pot is simply accomplished.
