I make brownie bites often. I like the design of this, but it's too small for brownie bites and when used with thick brownie batter, it takes several squeezes to get most of the batter out of the scoop. I don't think it's a good tool for what I needed it for, but the construction is good and it seems very sturdy.Customer Review: Not equal to 1.5 teaspoon

I bought this item because the recipe we use for our bread machine calls for 1.5 teaspoons of salt, 1.5 teaspoons of sugar and 1.5 Tbsp of milk powder. I thought it would be brilliant if we could locate a 1.5-teaspoon measuring spoon, so that we could measure everything easily, with a single tool. Unfortunately, this scoop contains considerably less volume than 1.5 teaspoons - it's more like 1.25. So, back to the drawing board.Customer Review: Didn't serve it's purpose!!!!

I purchased this to make mini cookies. It is the perfect size but the bar that comes across the cup part doesn't touch the cup at all. I spend more time trying to get the cookie dough out than what it is worth.
