Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Norpro Stoneware Butter Keeper
Customer Review: Keeps our butter from going bad Summary: 5 Stars
We love using real butter but it goes bad so quickly left out. Keeping it in the fridge is a pain as it takes for ever to thaw. Who loves smashing their toast? We saw one at a kitchen store at the mall and wanted it but figured I'd look on the net for a better price. Here it is on amazon for 17$ less! They work great and I can't wait for mine to arrive.
Customer Review: One of my favorite kitchen items Summary: 5 Stars
This ingenious and inexpensive item is a pleasure to have in my kitchen. Soft butter is always at the ready and never goes sour. Only in very very high heat have we had a problem with the butter slipping out of the cup, but I think that would be an issue with any keeper of this nature.
A must have for those who use butter on a daily basis.
Customer Review: Love it Summary: 5 Stars
We love having spreadable butter right by the toaster. Works great, especially in fall/winter when the house is a little cooler. We tried one from a potter first because we liked the looks better, but it had a lip on the butter dish part that was hard to work around when removing butter and cleaning. The open bell is much better.
Customer Review: It Works Very Well Summary: 5 Stars
I made this purchase based on several reviews. I was unsure as to how the heat in our kitchen would affect the butter consistency. It has performed exceptionally well. Many of our friends who have never seen one are amazed. At this point, I do not measure the water, I just guesstimate and change it approximately ever three days.
Customer Review: Works Great! Summary: 5 Stars
Ordered 2, one for me the other as a gift. Stuffed a stick of Land-O-Lakes butter in the bell a few days ago. The butter stays very creamy, and the color doesn't change as it does when it sits on an open butter dish. So far I'm pleasantly surprised. I like the color too, kind of 'retro' as my teenage daughter would say.
